Thursay 7-9-09 [9:50pm]

The other night my hard drive crashed, burned and EXPLODED the other day, and without a backup, I've literally lost everything that I had on my computer. (Including my diary and dream-journal of 5+ years. *ANGST*)

So thank goodness for Deviantart, because at least I have most of my own personal drawings stored here. *sigh*

It is going to take me FOREVER to get all of my stuff back.

So I've been mulling this idea over for awhile, but I'm thinking that maybe I should go through my entire gallery and rearrange everything. Take all of my older pictures & put them into scraps, tidy up my folders and the like.
Whaddaya think? Should I go ahead and do it?
It takes enough time just to organize the pictures I find online... >_>
Which reminds me, I haven't done that in awhile, so now it's going to take a REALLY long time...
... I guess I know what I'm doing for the rest of the night... <,>

This first year of college has been one hell of a wild ride.
And I certainly blame my sudden social life and all of the things going on for my noticeably decreased DA submissions. ^_^; Not that I'm overly upset about it, you have to understand. I feel like I've changed since last fall. But not totally in a bad way. ^_^; It's just another part of growing older and experiencing new things. If every now and then you don't look back and wonder at how you've changed & developed, you're probably not learning much. *shrug* But then what do I know.

I'm rambling, and so far haven't even touched up on my subject point. :'D
So recently while sorting through the vast number of pictures that I've been collecting, I came across a folder filled with blank art memes. So instead of working on my 100 themes project or otherwise drawing something ~useful~ I'm going to work on a few of them for a bit. : )
There's so many, AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM HAVE TERRIBLE SPELLING AND GRAMMARZ!!! *angst* (Not that I'm really one to talk, but still, it bugs me when people forgit add prepositions to sentances an mispel stuf.) -_-#

So yeah, I have a page I need to write for my British Literature class tomorrow morning and it's almost 1am already, so I guess I had better go and do that. ^_^;
I HAVE LESS THAN A MONTH OF SCHOOL LEFT, OMFG.

Hey ya'll.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last journal.
Not being able to update is apparently an issue all online artists can sympathize with. ^_^ I just registered my printer and it's working fine. So that means I have no excuse not to post some pictures today!

Soooooo...
It only just occurred to me that I have no idea how I'll post my art now that I'm in the college dorms. @_@ I mean, I even HAVE a printer/scanner/copier with me, but I can't figure out how to hook it up to my computer. T__T
I actually finished "Red" of my 100 Concepts project the other day and have already started "Orange", but how am I to post them? UGH. >_<

Okay, so... college is pretty cool so far, I guess. It's hard to evaluate considering I've only had classes the last 2 days... >_>
People here seem pretty cool, besides all of the Jesus-freaks outside of the Lory... T__T Seriously, if you're Christian, fine. I don't give a d**n about your personal beliefs, but holding up numerous signs telling me why I'm going to hell is just a TIDDLE offensive.
Ugh, sorry. Personal rant will cease now before it gets out of hand.

Lol, I love my Mom's eclectic cooking. I just realized that this is only my 6th day living in the dorms but I'm already bored with our choices, food-wise.

Hopefully I'll soon find a geek or nerd who can help me set up my scanner. ^_^'
